Having previously owned that Fireglo 360/12 with black hardware and trim, it's not for everyone but it's a fun and super unique look. Somehow landed in Olivia's Vintage shop, when I sold it to a private party a year and a half ago. I'd be super worried about that tailpiece though. We know how those 12 string black R's hold up. I had put a black trapeze on it as a preventative measure and it seems a later on owner didn't care to save the original and put it at risk of failure. In fact, if I recall right, it had some stress points already visible and is on the brink of "exploding." https://justrickenbackers.com/inventory/individual/?id=77
I always think that back-painted gold acrylic is what looks best on fireglo. But I like the look of black pickguards and trc better than the white ones,
and black hardware better than chrome.
It kinda gives a C&W impression on fireglo, though, doesn’t it?
And then there’s that weakening of the black powder coated bridges/tailpieces to contend with.

"Who hurt you?" made me laugh. :D

Black Binding is cool, but not as cool as Brown Binding. Which should be a future article... Long live the OG BT! :)
