I'll tell you definitively that the "C" in C Series does not stand for Collector or Collection, or anything like that. But those sound nice . . . . I'll also say that it's likely there are a few more limited editions out there, not only for Japan, but also Germany, the UK, and no doubt some I've forgotten about.
I had a 310c64 in Montezuma brown. I honestly didn’t care for the finish, as it seemed a bit gummy. Enough for me, that I sold it. But, I do like a 310 guitar. I don’t really need the middle pickup of the 325.
A few extra details for you Andy:
- These were built in commemoration of Shinseido’s 60th anniversary
- There were 24 Jetglo and 36 Montezuma Brown
- As part of the same “event”, there was also a run of 360c63s (40 FG, 20 JG) and some 1999s.
