BTW - With 2 pickups and no selector switch, how are the two knobs configured?
I like the bumblebee colors, and remember thinking when this was made that there were a lot of features I loved. (50s-ish style pickguard, Schaller Roller bridge, overall look), and just as many I didn’t love.(bolt on neck,hot higains,lack of tone control).
It’s a cool bass, but I don’t see the $$$, other than it being a one-off.
Also - any idea where Howie Epstein's custom bass ended up?
I have gone down that rabbit hole and lost the trail…

They’re labeled bass volume and treble volume, so I guess no tone control…
