I don't get that tailpiece bridge? Looks cheap. Has a prototype look to it. Its his guitar so doesn't matter what I think. Otherwise a very striking tool! Hope he uses it alot! Surprised he went with toaster and horseshoe? Thought he might go with HB1 pickups?

The bridge/tailpiece is the same as the original ones from the 50s/early 60s. The bridge underneath is kind of basic and janky looking,so it’s nice to have the cover over it. I guess Ged wanted a certain amount of authenticity, and he always replaced the later version Rick bridges with Badass ones anyway.

I love hb1 pickups, but these are single coil, which again I think are more in the same vein as Geddy’s higain 4001 or his J basses.

As long as he uses it and hopefully for more than one song

Saw this earlier on FB. Amazing and beautiful, incorporating a lot of my favorite Rickenbacker signatures.

Turquoise!!! ❤️50s style Jetson pickguard shape! Love the stinger, and the look of the headstock’s transition from natural to the front color.

Really curious to see what bridge is being used. RIC posted another similar one off in a darker blue, with the 50s pickguard shape, but it has a Schaller roller bridge without a cover. Also curious to know if the horseshoe is one of the reissue design, I imagine Geddy would want the shoes removed for performing.

This one has the “correct” tailpiece/bridge combo under the cover, unlike that earlier black one. As regards the pup, I think only Lollar makes a “true” horseshoe, and given the legal beef between the two companies I doubt it’s a Lollar lol
