I have both the 6- and 12-string 350’s along with 2 330’s. Regarding playability, I don’t notice any difference in any of the necks. The balance is a little different, obviously, because of the differing body sizes but not problematic at all.
Sonically, there are certainly differences, mainly because of the 350’s toasters and the 330’s High Gains. Also, the 350’s middle pickup can’t be avoided using the factory config and it does add some mids and the tiniest bit of “curl”(?) to the standard toasters’ tones. (I had mods done to mine with a pull pot in the blend knob position to add/remove the middle pickup from the circuit and still operate as a standard blend knob either way.)
Great article Andy! I love the design because of the lightness of the semi hollow body and the small size of it. I’ve got five of these including two 12 string versions
How would you say the 350 Liverpool compares in playability and sound vs. a 330 or 360?

I’m not personally aware of any vids out there.
Any videos out there that do a comparison like this?
Still searching for a 350 in a shop to try. Love those models.
Wow. Terrific.
I never knew about the all black early version. Very cool article 👍 I learned something today..
