What I would like to know is what the trademark on the 12 string headstock is.. I'd like to try making a slotted headstock but we know in the 1960s Murph guitars took some heat for doing that, although at the time it was probably a patent issue. Did you run across what if anything is 'trademarked' on the headstock..? The slots seem functional so not a trademark except perhaps the shape of them.. I have to admit I haven't looked into other mfr.s using slots currently.
Would be cool to touch on the 'we don't cease and desist anymore' era that is now. Re: Harry White, and the many others that make 'near exact' models, including the TM's on the TRC. AliExpress, etc. Never a peep from RIC anymore... Or so it seems to me.
